About PicDiff
The Story Behind PicDiff
I built PicDiff because I needed a better way to see the details. As an engineer, I've always spent a lot of time checking UI changes and font renderings. But recently, I found myself spending even more time comparing AI-generated images—trying to spot subtle variations between different prompts or models.
I couldn't find a tool that felt right. Most were either too heavy, required an account just to upload a file, or didn't offer the precision I needed. I wanted something fast, private, and focused entirely on the comparison itself. So, I started building it.
Our Concept
PicDiff is designed to be a tool that just works, without getting in your way.
- Your images stay with you: Privacy isn't an afterthought. Core comparison happens entirely in your browser. Your data never leaves your machine unless you explicitly choose to share a link.
- Focus on the details: Whether it's a 1-pixel shift in a layout or a slight texture change in an AI generation, our synchronized pan and zoom help you see exactly what's different.
- Zero friction: No accounts, no complex setups. Just drop your images and start comparing.
Meet the Developer
Hi, I'm k-urtica, an engineer based in Japan.
I love building tools that solve real problems for developers and creators. PicDiff is a project I'm actively refining based on how I use it every day and the feedback I get from the community.
